March 4, 1997 - A delegation from the OSCE's bureau for democratic institutions and human rights, headed by Audry Glover, met with Uzbek President Islam Karimov and Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Komilov on 4th March. Mrs.Glover, the same day made a speech at a "Democracy and a Law-Based Society" seminar and suggested starting a cycle of seminars on human rights from next month.
